We work from Morewood, in North Dundas, and serve small businesses within about an hour of it: SDG Counties, Prescott-Russell, North Grenville and the Ottawa area. Monitoring and most fixes happen remotely. When a job needs hands, we drive.
Three zones, one flat travel fee each
Remote support is included in every plan. Onsite visits carry a flat travel fee by zone, so there is no mileage math on the invoice.
Local
$25 onsiteOur home turf around Morewood. Same-day onsite visits are the norm.
Regional
$50 onsiteA short drive from the workshop. Onsite visits are usually same-day or next business day.
Metro
$75 onsiteOttawa, Cornwall and the far ends of the region. Remote first, onsite when it needs hands.
How a rural service area actually works
Managed IT does not depend on where the office is. Device Shield watches every computer around the clock from our workshop, patches it, and lets us fix most problems in minutes without anyone driving anywhere. That is the same whether the business is in Chesterville or Cornwall.
Where geography matters is the physical work: a router that has died, a switch to replace, WiFi to install in a shop or a barn, cameras to mount, cabling to fix. For that we come to you, and the zone sets the travel fee. Local and regional towns get same-day or next-business-day visits as a rule. Metro towns are scheduled, and we group visits where we can to keep the cost down.
